About CFC (Computers for Christ Church)
CFC is a website made by Dennis Gahm that represents a church.
It is almost fictional because it has no physical location right now.
According to the founding document, located in the Faith Seminary folder,
We see that CFC was designed to run on computers all around the world.
It was designed so that minimal cost can be used to run the church, and that many people can attend
with little effort.
With just a keystroke, you can enter into service, and worship with all people around the world.
There is a telos with CFC.
One of them is to allow people to see each other as pixels while worshipping and worship together and see each other as pixels dancing.
It's a funny and simple desire, but I love the community.
But the greatest telos is for all humanity to accomplish the whole of the book of Revelation in the Bible.
The telos of the church of the Bible - the ekklesia - is to accomplish all things that God has set out in the Bible and in his prophecy.
The Word of God is the highest authority in this church - it is not a pastor.
But, of course, according to the Bible itself (which is considered the Word), the Word is fullest understood as Jesus Christ (John 1).
Thus, when making decisions or giving sermons or giving theological talks, we must cite the Bible and the Word of God.
Revelation, General and Special, must both be used in citations.
Therefore, all scientific and academic literature and all things in creation can be cited for reference.
Sermons are designed to entertain, but primarly to inform about love and joy.
We are to make people happy during service, not to let them down.
It is a time of knowing the next steps in life, and pondering the deep paths in life.
But there is joy - a fullness of joy when the people of God congregate together to worship the Lord.
I believe that all religions are welcome, and we want to unite with all people.
Let us continue as we are, as our Bible says - "remain as you are" (Apostle Paul in his Epistle).
Thus, if you are Muslim, remain so - if you are Hindu, remain so - etc.
You, and us, and all, are beautiful as we are.
We want to welcome all people to our church, and to have a blessed time together.
God bless you and everyone.
Sincerely,
Dennis
